Choose a President that served after World War II and write a paper that answers the question:
Did the President change the United States for the better?
You may not use the current administration.
Your president must have taken office after FDR.
Consider and present both sides of the argument and arrive at a definitive conclusion.
Your thesis statement should acknowledge both sides and clearly state your eventual conclusion.
Use at least two domestic policy development and two foreign policy development to support your thesis.
Research your President with both modern and contemporary sources.
You must use at least two sources that date back to the President’s administration and two sources that are more recent.
Information from all four sources must be used to support your thesis, as well as cited.
The bibliography page and the footnotes must be in Chicago format.
